Salary: Up to $225k/year DOE with $50k sign on bonus

Role Description This full-time, on-site Pediatrician role is based in Lake Charles, LA and involves providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. Day to-day responsibilities include conducting patient examinations, diagnosing and treating common and complex pediatric conditions, and managing preventive care such as vaccinations and routine checkups. The Pediatrician will collaborate closely with other physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, review test results, and develop treatment plans. Additional tasks include educating families on child development, safety, nutrition, and disease prevention, maintaining accurate medical records, and adhering to regulatory, ethical, and quality-of-care standards. The role also involves participating in practice meetings, contributing to process improvements, and supporting a patient-centered, inclusive care environment.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a wide range of pediatric health concerns.
• Strong clinical expertise in Pediatrics, including preventive care, acute care, and chronic disease management for children and adolescents.
• Experience or training in Neonatology, with skills in caring for newborns and coordinating care for infants with special medical needs.
• Demonstrated ability in Working with Physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics; active or eligible Louisiana medical license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to patient safety, evidence-based practice, and maintaining accurate, timely medical documentation.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Lake Charles, LA and adapt to the needs of a busy clinical environment.
