About our Speaker:

Judith L. Stevens, CPC - Vice-President and Chief Operations Officer of PerforMax Medical Management, a medical management consulting and billing firm with which associated for 19+ years. Her working experience in various capacities in medical offices spans 44 years.

Mrs. Stevens currently serves as Outreach Chairman of the Medical Group Management Association of Mississippi.

Mrs. Stevens has presented training workshops on various subjects such as the RAC Audits, 5010 Implementation and ICD-10-CM Implementation for physicians, medical office managers and administrators for the MS Osteopathic Medical Association, the MS Orthopedic Society, the MS Coast Physicians, LLC, as well as in numerous locations throughout the state for MGMA of MS.

She also serves on the Advisory Board of Delta Technical College in Jackson, advising on content of the curriculum offered in their medical billing and coding programs. In 2015, she was recognized by the Mississippi Business Journal as a MS Health-care Hero for the education and services she provides to medical communities throughout Mississippi. She was certified as a professional coder by the American Academy of Professional Coders in 2003.

In her current role at PerforMax Medical Management, she is directly involved in performing coding audits, as well as providing coding education for not only PerforMax staff members, but for physicians and their staff to insure achievement of maximum reimbursement for the services rendered.
